Product Description
Cnoc Na Mòine, the third chapter in the Torabhaig Legacy Series, showcases our signature heavily peated single malt, matured in a combination of Bourbon American Oak, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximenez casks. This expression balances robust peatiness with rich sherry notes, reflecting the dramatic and untamed beauty of the Isle of Skye. The result is a complex and richly layered whisky with a deeper, more profound hue.
NOSE : Gentle peat smoke underlines aromas of citrus zest, vibrant fruits, and a faint echo of smoldering ashes. There's a layer of vanilla sweetness, enriched by nuances of freshly cut oak.
PALATE : On the palate, the smokiness evolves with a hint of grilled barbecue, paired with spicy black pepper, a subtle balsamic zest, added sweetness, and a whisper of spice. Hints of cedar and leather emerge, deepened by the sherry cask's contribution.
FINISH : Sherry cask influences gracefully emerge, maintaining a balanced interplay with Torabhaig's signature peat and spice blend, highlighting its intricate and harmonious nature.

Torabhaig Cnoc Na Moine
A terrific bottle. Torabhaig continues to produce really good whisky at a really good price. That’s a great combination. The peat here is prevalent without being overbearing. The cask influences are subtle, particularly the sherry. If you’re looking for a peat bomb, this won’t be it. Same for a sherry bomb, it’s there but in a nice, light way. But if you want a solid whisky at a good price, you’ve found it. My only quibble is that I’d like just a bit more ABV. But this bottle isn’t meant to be rocket fuel so I’m not going to quibble too much about it. All in all, well done by Torabhaig.
