This release is a bold single malt from Torabhaig distillery on the Isle of Skye, matured in 1st fill bourbon barrels. A sip takes you to a late summer BBQ by a misty Scottish loch, where the scent of smoked ham hangs in the cool air and laughter echoes off the hills.
Flavours of burnt sticky marshmallows and roasted almonds fill the air, creating a sweet and savoury contrast that lingers. This is a dram made for long evenings, full of flavour and lively conversation.
