Not my usual Scotch type, but good
I bought this based on the novelty in the articles I read, as in, "First American female Scotch distiller!" I'm sipping it as I write this. I like a number of different Scotches and cannot afford a lot of them, like Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Glenlivet 18 year. This is different, tasty, and reasonably priced. It's sweeter and more mellow than most of the brands I drink, and I'd almost say it tastes like a good Irish Whiskey more than a Scotch. My wife does not drink Scotch but likes this, so the joke is that we have taken to calling it "Girl Scotch". I'd probably realistically give it a 4.5 if there were such a rating, but my only gripe is that right now it's not available in Michigan where I'm from and I had to pay more for shipping than I would have wanted to. Bottom line, I'd say try it. I will be ordering more when this is gone.

As good or better than my Grandfather's Scotch
Very good Scotch. It's made some new friends in South Carolina's Midlands.
