Finished in virgin American oak barrels – a rare wood source for Scotch whisky. ​Laphroaig's most laid-back expression lets our signature flavours of medicinal peat smoke and seaweed shine, leaving plenty of room for notes of red fruit, lime and a floral finish. ​

    As a 30+ year Friend of Laphroiag Im biased but the first 20, i drank only the 10-year old. I do enjoy this Select. It's Mr. John Campbell's next best after his Cairdias.

    I'm a big fan of Laphroaig ever since my introduction to it some years ago. I do love the Peat and the earth of it.
