In Orkney, nature isn't just something you see. You can feel it in the vast skies. The crashing waves. The powerful wind. In fact, the wind is so strong in Orkney that trees find it difficult to grow here. Instead, the landscape blooms with the purple heather that gives our peat - and our whisky - its signature flavour: a subtle hint of aromatic smoke that delicately offsets, but never overwhelms, the complex flavours in each bottle.
Highland Park Cask Strength: Heather has been crafted with 100% peat-smoked barley to offer the most powerful expression of our local heathered peat - sourced with care from Hobbister Moor, a few miles down the road from our distillery.
Bottled at cask strength from first-fill European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks and selected refill casks, this single malt is a playful twist on our distinctive flavour profile, with a more pronounced, but beautifully balanced, kick of aromatic heathered peat smoke.
750mL, 63.6% ABV.
