Excellent!
Such a wonderful peated malt from Tobermory. I love how the peat is very different from Islay peat...more "smoked ham" and less "bonfire". Brine, honey, figs, the palate on this is fabulous!

Stick with Islay
For almost $70, you can do much better than Ledaig 10 year-old, the peated malt release from Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. For me, it came across as a badly done Laphroaig 10. It has a cloying sweetness that is not diminished or improved by the addition of water. I didn't know honey and florals could be so offensive, but they are here. Oak not integrated very well at all with the peat and smoke.
