Freshly charred and toasted, these custom made Chinkapin (Quercus Muehlenbergii) American White Oak casks are a type of Oak native to Central and Eastern North America.
The fresh charring of the cask brings a rich color and flavor early on in the maturation process, and the high toast caramelizes the natural sugars in the wood. Expect sweet toffee and butterscotch on the nose; with vibrant dark fruit flavors and deep, rich colors at a young age.
