Matured in fine Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía in Spain, this richly sherried Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky presents exquisite complexity, with dark treacle, allspice and walnut carrying on into the long, lingering finish. Often referred to by whisky connoisseurs as the ‘ultimate sherry bomb’.

Antique bronze with an amber hue.
aroma:
Deep aromatics of fudge and dark muscovado sugar. Fruit compote and morello cherries provide added layers of complexity.
palate:
Rich, dark and seductive. Remarkable flavours of stewed fruits and allspice marry together with classical aged Oloroso and toasted walnut bread and chocolate orange.

not Ben nevus, but not bad
Nice and smooth, as expected from an 18 year old vintage. Has distinctive character, 'almost" complex, like ben Nevus of old but not quite there. the sherry cask adds sweetness, not over powering but definitely noticed. Good after dinner make, cleans the palate and has a long enough finish that a second is in order. always.
