Product Description
With each batch specially crafted, Aberlour A’bunadh is a unique cask strength whisky that has achieved cult status among whisky connoisseurs.
Meaning ‘the original’ in Gaelic, A’bunadh is made in homage to Aberlour’s founder, James Fleming, using only traditional methods without chill filtration or other modern processes.
The result is a heavier, creamier single malt than most have ever experienced – memorably flavoursome, with an intense raisin character.
Aberlour A'Bunadh is of Batch 54 matured exclusively in Spanish Oloroso butts and bottled at natural cask strength without chill filtration at 60.7% ABV.

#1 Sherry Bomb
We purchased this bottle for our Single Malt Club and was hoping to present one of the best Sherry Bombs out there! It did not disappoint! The majority of the club put it as their favorite and me and my co-host Logan both agreed we been looking forward to this bottle for a long time! It is raspberry syrup, floral, full of dark red fruit on the nose. The palate is sweet candy with a great amount of barrel influence on the finish. If you have been holding out on this whisky you should go ahead and pull the trigger already! Does great with a touch of water as well!

The source
A'Bunadh apparently means "the source" in Gaelic and this whisky could well be considered among the best of the source of all good Scottish whiskey. Bold and bracing, with a huge 61% cask strength alcohol, it is a surprisingly drinkable whisky. Great flavor! Add a very small amount of water and it opens up nicely. I am a definite fan of Aberlour A'Bunadh.
