Tomintoul Distillery was established in 1964. Its rich and fruity style was instantly a hit with blenders and now with malt whisky drinkers. This whisky was matured in a cask that previously held Sherry and then whisky thus it demonstrates perfectly the distilleries charms.

    An amazing independent bottling

    I've had a few of the Exclusive Malts over the years, but the 10 year Tomintoul is easily the best. Despite their official 10 year bottling being terribly lackluster, this independent release (at cask strength) is full of interesting flavors from nose through to finish. A rare find, very happy to have it.
