Product Description
This single malt combines the finest concerto malted barley with the incredibly pure water of Loch Katrine and is fermented for over 72 hours before being distilled painstakingly slowly in our traditional copper pot stills, three times.
The additional third distillation removes heavier oiler compounds from the spirit so only the lightest and purest spirit is collected to make this incredibly light and smooth whisky. The resulting new make spirit is wonderfully fruity and bright and is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and virgin American oak casks which are married together before bottling.
Non-chill filtered, natural in colour and bottled at 46% ABV, this is a wonderfully well-balanced and vibrant single malt with notes of shortbread, honey and double cream with a warming woody spice.
