    Another Old Pulteney winner

    Old Pulteney 15 yo first nose and have a sip I decided it needed a drop of water and did something else for 15 minutes. The water is needed, otherwise a dominating chinese spice note takes control especially in the back. N: seasalt, fresh seaweed, fruit, lemon and something very zesty. T: camphor, lemon heads, licorice and the chinese spice is still there but way diminished. fini: very long and slightly drying. Final thoughts: nice whisky, not a daily drinker but I could have a bottle around. If the profile works for you then buy it.....Whisky Vicky sez 84.........
