GLENALLACHIE 35 YEAR OLD
Built in 1967 as a small compact distillery, GlenAllachie was the fourth distillery designed by William Delme-Evans. The complete whisky making process was gravity fed and combined with unusual horizontal condensers it was a triumph of engineering and design.
The GlenAllachie 35-year-old tells a story of dedication, patience and a relentless pursuit of perfection. Every drop of this meticulously crafted elixir is a testament to our unwavering commitment to exceptional craftsmanship.
Encased in a lavish hand-carved oak box, the spectacular liquid—which dates back to 1989—was matured to perfection in three Pedro Ximénez, one Oloroso, and two virgin oak casks. The result is a luscious symphony of caramel, espresso, and tropical fruit tones.
We proudly present The GlenAllachie 35-year-old at a high strength of 48%, natural color and unchillfiltered, enabling the remarkable spirit to speak for itself.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Waves of mocha, cinnamon, heather honey and pineapple, with hints of raisins, pomegranate and eucalyptus.
Taste: Layers of dark chocolate, mocha, raisins and dried fruit, fusing with heather honey, treacle and pineapple, with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
Since reviving GlenAllachie, Master Distiller Billy Walker has spent endless amounts of time carefully analyzing the spirit within each and every cask. It was then he realized just how special our whisky was. Now, the GlenAllachie single malt is ready to be enjoyed by the world. Billy proudly puts his name to every single one of these bottles.
