Canadian sourced and it tastes it, with vanilla nose and some toffee. Not that that is bad, but it lacks the spicy rye edge. Not bad to try, but others are better for the money.

Benders is Canadian surced whiskey, and it tastes it. Not that that is bad, just you want more from a rye. The vanilla is very strong. Nice nose, but like some other canadian s ( Pendleton, for example), it is rather flat across the mouth. the 96 proof comes through in the throat, not unpleasantly. down. Ice kills it, so drink neat or with a splash. I bought it online. If I saw it in my local store, I might pass. But then again, could be a nice everyday choice. Better if it was about 10 bucks less.
